Currency Converter

Convert between 25+ world currencies — USD, PKR, EUR, GBP, INR, AED and more — with live exchange rates when available.

—

Mid-market rates are the midpoint between the buy and sell prices banks trade at — the rate you see on Google and currency sites. Your bank, card or exchange shop adds its own margin, so the amount you actually receive will be slightly different.

About the Currency Converter

The Currency Converter turns an amount in one currency into another — dollars to rupees, pounds to euros, dirhams to rupees and more than 20 other world currencies. It uses live mid-market exchange rates when they can be loaded, and falls back to recent built-in rates when you are offline, so it always gives you an answer — and it always tells you which rates it used and when they were updated. Popular pairs like USD to PKR are one tap away.

How to use it

  1. Type the amount you want to convert.
  2. Pick the currency you have and the currency you want.
  3. Read the converted amount and the exact rate used, shown underneath.
  4. Use Swap to reverse the conversion, or tap a popular pair to jump straight to it.

Frequently asked questions

Where do the exchange rates come from?

When you open the tool it fetches today's live mid-market rates from a public exchange-rate service. If that cannot load — for example with no connection — it uses recent built-in rates instead, and the line under the result always says which set was used and when it was updated.

What is a mid-market rate?

It is the midpoint between the buy and sell prices banks trade at — the rate you see on Google and currency sites. Banks, cards and exchange shops add their own margin, so the amount you actually receive will be slightly less.

Which currencies are included?

More than 25 major and regional currencies, including the US dollar, Pakistani rupee, euro, British pound, Indian rupee, UAE dirham, Saudi riyal, Bangladeshi taka, Sri Lankan rupee and Japanese yen.

Is anything uploaded?

No. The conversion maths happens in your browser. The only network request is fetching the public exchange rates themselves — the amounts you type never leave your device.
