About the Case Converter

The Case Converter rewrites your text in ten different letter cases. Everyday formats like UPPERCASE, lowercase and Title Case sit next to the camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case and kebab-case styles used for variable names, file names and URLs, so writers and developers can fix or reformat text without retyping it.

How to use it

  1. Type or paste the text you want to convert.
  2. Click the case you need — the result appears instantly below.
  3. Press Copy result to take it with you, or Clear to start over.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?

camelCase starts with a lowercase letter and capitalises each following word (myVideoTitle). PascalCase capitalises every word including the first (MyVideoTitle) and is common for class names in code.

Which case is best for URLs and file names?

kebab-case — lowercase words joined by hyphens — is the standard for URLs because it stays readable and avoids case-sensitivity problems. snake_case is common for file names and database fields.

Does converting change my words?

No words are added or removed. Formats like snake_case and kebab-case replace spaces with underscores or hyphens, so keep a copy of the original if you need the exact spacing back.
